Awesome D.I.Y tools

Two new discoveries I made this week. Don't know which one to mention first because they are both so awesome. Okay, first is this awesome website that provides vintage graphics and crafts.  You can print these images for your wedding essentials or transfer them onto totes, towels, pillows, etc. and give them as gifts. Through this site I also found my next inspiration. Apparently, Sherwin Williams has a new tool called letschipit , where you can upload an image and they will match it with paint chips. Light bulb went on, and I thought this tool would be so helpful to all the brides stuck on choosing a color palette for their wedding. Its so easy and amazing! Simply go to letschipit. Choose to upload an image or enter image url. Once you have an image this tool will give you a couple color options. I think this tool did an awesome job with this beautiful peonies bouquet.  What do you think?

Wedding Budget Checklist

Before you get excited over having a dove release at your ceremony or having a violinist play as appetizers and hors d'oeuvres are being served or serving shrimp over steak or having a wedding venue with chandeliers and a marble floor or even renting a limo, sit down and collect your thoughts. While all this may seem to be what you've always dreamt about, the price tag may not be what you'll be smiling about.

The most important thing in planning a wedding is figuring out what you can afford. Think reality versus fantasy.  I am not saying you can't have what you've dreamt about, just prepare yourself for the facts.  Give yourself enough time to be able to save the amount you need for your wedding. Another important tool to use while planning your wedding, is a wedding check list.  With so much to worry about, having this list in hand will help you plan your wedding with less stress.  The knot.com also has a great wedding checklist with a countdown to your wedding.  Also, check out the wedding tracker by theknot.com, where you can personalize your very own wedding website. The site includes maps for guests, accommodations, R.S.V.P, etc. In this era of technology, what better way to keep yourself organized than to have your own wedding website.
